Root canal trade

An endodontist friend of mine did a root canal on me this morning,at no cost to me, so this afternoon I turned a pen for him. He is a serious golfer an president of his country club, so I thought a good ole persimmon might do for him. OK, mostly persimmon.

Uhmmmm, looks about even to me. A root canal is quite expensive these days - at least around here - and I do believe you have made quite the, er, trade!

Very nice trade too. The pen is fantastic!
