Root Burl

Caught this burl fishing early this spring and brought it home---real slow day fishing. Anyway turned out to be a real nice catch.
I have no ideal what kind of wood it is---but I LOVE it.

What kind of bait did you use? [][] By the way, it is drift wood. [:0] Very nice, the second picture is darker than the first and seems to compliment the pen.

Frank I hooked it Catfishing a deep hole on lake Cumberland--Kentucky.
It really would hard to figure out how old it is. I how I trashed a bandsaw blade when I hit the rock that was in the burl cluster.
