Made using stabilised Maple
Finished with Rustins Plastic Finish and Burnished with Trade Secret Burnishing Cream.

Beautiful pen. I usually prefer rhodium over gold but with that wood gold with rhodium accents was definitely the way to go imo. Love that style of fountain pen.

One of the first "Nice" pens I turned was the Roman Harvest. I had no hope to do it justice (within my first 20 pens), but alas, it came out very well. A beast of a pen due to it's size, but also a weapon when done! :tongue:

You have a very nice example of a wonderful pen.:good:

I also agree that Gold is not my preferred plating, but it is excellent with this timber.
