Hurricane Rita, the 4th most intense Atlantic Hurricane ever recorded, made landfall along the Texas/Louisiana border on September 24, 2005. Friends of mine lost their home and have been living in a FEMA trailer ever since. They asked if I could handcraft a pen from a piece of a pecan tree that was lost on their property. Here are my results.
