This is the first pen made using my new Grizzly band saw and I have to say with thas new saw, making segmented pens will now be more fun, accurate AND safe. I did not use any metals or pins in this one just straight wood. The woods are Koa cut in half with maple burl and Cocobolo sandwiched between and epoxied together. The bands are Cocobolo and the final is Cocobolo. The finish is around 10 coats CA sanded and sanded again through all the pretty colored pads then finally polished with Novus heavy and light scratch removers.

I can see it clearly now. That looks like you knew what you were doing there. What angle are those scallops cut on? The look really long.
