A Retro and a good old slimline

I had a few hours free today and my youngest son has been bugging me to make him a metal pen. I made an ali slimline. I still love slimlines:biggrin: I also made the closed ended Retro.
I made a pictorial on how do these without mandrels..

Those are beauties. I love the knurling on the slim. The malachite closed end is classic.
