Here is a pic of a pen that is headed out for engraving.
Amboyna Burl/CA on a Majestic Jr. Roller ball.

It is for the superintendent of our county's school system. He is retiring after 47 years. He attended school here, came back as a high school English teacher, became assistant principal, principal and moved up to Superintendent.
My wife has been teaching in the county for 29 years and my mom had 39 years as well.
My wife wanted to do something special for him and his service to our county and education.

I think he might like it!

Charlie, That is the Pen, We have all been wanting to make.
You have chosen a most Beautiful Amboyna Burl, Superbly matched and fitted to a Glorious Majestic Jnr.
Your Craftsmanship is Exemplified by your Fit and Finish.
A Splendid Tribute to a person who Spent 47 years of his life in Education.
One of the most Beautiful Pens I have seen.
Brian.

Thanks everyone so much for the favorable comments. :)

It is nice when you make a pen that you, yourself can stand back, look
at it and not see little faults here and there but rather take pleasure in saying:
"Well Done!".

I will post another pic when I get it back with the engraving.
