I made this desk set for a retiring manager at my place of employment. The pen is recycled mountain ash from in front of our Parks Yard that was taken down due to it dying. The base is made from a 2x10 found in the attic of a storage barn that was demolished for a Park expansion. The casting is a Rafter and Ridgepole Bracket manufactured by the "Louden Machinery Company " from Fairfield, Iowa.
Thanks for looking.

Desk Set

Outstanding.

I have made some from "planer mill ends" they cut off major defects and they just pile up. Mill has allowed me to go pick and choose. The defect frequently is what makes the individual piece unique.
