Hi I spent the last week playing and gluing up but I learnt taht I need to do better join up but I am learning and having fun.
Here what I been doing

This pen is babinga and something not sure. I think it was an oak of some sort but I am not sure.

this pen is a long pen for my mum she wanted one that did not get lost in her hand bag it is 17cm long. Made from Satin Sycamore

One last one. I tried to do bricks but they got lathed off the side but I learnt from it.

Fun is good!....one of the reasons we do this...fun!!. You are doing great and the tight joints and precise cuts will come with more practice. Ron never has told us how big a box of mistakes he has. We all have those boxes. Keep cutting and gluing and you will be amazed how quickly the pens improve. Put one of your pens somewhere out of sight and look at it in one year. You will be amazed at the improvement you've made.
