Repurposed bamboo

This is the first pen I have ever posted. I've been looking for a good while but just haven't posted one yet. Your pens are so awesome. So here it is its a repurposed bamboo cutting board mounted on a cigar. I finished it with 5 or 6 coats of thin glue and micro meshed. I like that you can see the pegs that held the bamboo together.

I like the pegs too. I've thought about that often when looking a cutting boards.

Neat pen. +1 for the pegs. Have had a cutting board in the shop for years and never had time to play with making pens from it. I guess that now is the time.
