This is the one I just did. My uncle asked me if I could reproduce an older pen I did. I figured it shouldn't be too hard.

And that's what I had to reproduce. They're both Western Redbud, and CA finish. The only noticeable difference worth mentioning is the different clip.

All depending on the 'uncles' age, you could have just handed him a feather and a bottle of ink:eek:

Okay, maybe my uncles are older then yours??

Nice curves, would have looked really good on an antique finished hardware set.

OOOOOHHH!!! I like the idea. If I ever get my grubby mitts on some antique copper kits I gotta try that! I found out he ordered that one for my aunt, so I slipped the blue resin I just did in there for him as a surprise.

You have certainly improved on fit and finish since the original. They say "Practice makes Perfect"!!! Looks GOOOOOD!

Thanks! I think these are about 7 months apart. There have been a few significant improvements in the finish and the fit has gotten a bit better. I will say that doing a full pen is a lot less stressful than it used to be. Amazing what the difference is.

This has nice lines and has quite a classic look. Nice CA finish... I really like it....

Q. What's the difference between an elephant fart and a tavern?

A. One's just a bar room, the other's a BAROOM!
