A few months ago this nice retired lady came to me to commission 4 pens. She is sort of stubborn and only wanted a particular shade of pink. Nice ol' gal but dang if she isn't set in her ways. I ended up driving clear to Woodcraft in Cleveland to pick up the right "pink" blanks for her. It was a worthwhile effort to satisfy her because she wants to give these away to 4 folks she loves to remind them to schedule their yearly mammograms. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
I married that retired lady 36 years ago. The 4 folks are her sisters. She didn't want any of the fancy clips and sparkles from the commercial kits just this "pink". I guess it really is the thought that counts.
