Redwood I think.....

So I just turned this for a friend; he was kinda unsure of what the wood was, but wanted to have something turned from the wood. Did a CA finish on it since the wood was so soft. Didn't want it to scratch or ding too much during regular use. Comments welcome, since I am still learning!

Nice looking pen and work. Yes, it looks like the stuff I have. I had to do a CA finish as well on the stuff I have. Real soft and easy to turn. Your friend will really enjoy it.
