Turned this piece of Redwood Burl and left all the imperfections in the surface. Gave it a three good coats of Endurovar then hit it with the 0000 and beeswax finish. I really like how it came out.

Nice piece of wood. I think I would have used CA so it would have a glass like finish.

glass finish or a plastic like finish--
I am not a ca plastic finish kind of guy! I do use it because it is best for a durable finish wishing for a new product.

Well if it was going up for sale I probably would have done the CA. But I personally don't like it and since I made this one for myself I prefer the wax finish. I like to feel the wood, and see the patina develop.
