Thought these went together well. Copper and Denim. Denim is left over from a large block I made from a pair of Wrangler Jeans I no longer could wear :) This is the block of denim not wrapped around pen. Comments welcome

That's really cool... I GOT to get started in casting my own blanks, got SO many ideas floating in my head.. LOL

Mine is a Laminate not cast. I take a bunch of layers of denim, use fiberglass resin, half the drops as recommended.Slop some on the entire length of denim strip them put another on top. Repeat till desired thickness. Then put wax paper on both sides, press between 2 boards and c clamp the boards. let dry over night. Turns like wood.
