Red Oak End Grain

I know I am still way out of my league here as a new turner (about 25 pens now), but I was really pleased with the way this one turned out. As the title says, I did an end grain turn using red oak. 10 coats of thin CA, wet sanded with 600 grit, couple more coats of thin CA, then polished with Hut friction polish.
