Hi All,

This pen was an order from a fountain pen customer, she wanted a Red Jasper Tru Stone on the Ligero (Yes I still make them)

I have changed the name of the Ligero to Mariano in honour of my late friend Joe Mariano who passed away at 52 this year from brain cancer.

Hope she likes it!

A beautiful pen, despite being on a Ligero. I'm sure the customer will like it.

I have always been drawn to the aesthetics of the Ligero kit, and have made a few of them, but in my experience very few people are attracted to them.

I wish they'd make it with more metal so it'd have less of a "plastic" feeling.

I did have an order once for a mother-of-pearl on an El Grande kit from a collector of fountain pens, and even though it too is (to me) a bit of a lightweight/plastic feeling pen, the customer absolutely loved it.

Really looks Great!

Very nice pen, I really like the heft of the Hut Titan kit that is the same as the El Grande and PennStateInd. Olympian. I have had several requests for these. Very easy to assemble.
