I've been a little slow on pen making lately but did some home casting of some acorn tops using alumilite. The acorns came from beside a running track. As I finished my short run and got bored waiting for the real runner (my wife) to finish, I noticed acorn tops and got busy picking them up. A nouveau sceptre and a full size statesman. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the comments. The green pen is a second attempt since I had two blow outs (upper and lower barrels). The material on the full sized is so thin once turned down to size. I didn't use a single turning tool unless you call a disk sander a turning tool. Once the corners were truned off, a power sander was used the rest of the way until close to size. No blow outs that way.
