This is my 2nd completed corncob pen.( I gave the first away) Naturally redish. comments welcome.
Came right out out of the squrale feed bag. i bought the bag at one of my local hardware store. The whole bag was nothing but these red color. the greatest part was the person who checked me asked me what i was doing with he corn. "making pens." I then showed some people there some of the pen I had made. they really liked them. even said they would buy some from a little closer to christmas. SCORE!( I havent sold many pens. Well I havent really tried though. I will try to go to some craft fairs next year.( theres a lot in my area)Originally posted by knottyharry
Spike,
Nice job on the corncob pen.
Try some dye, or markers on some of them.
Did you do this from a stabilized blank, or a regular one.

i havent tryed making any larger kits yet. I have plenty of corn cob that would work great. I have every thing to make El Grande pens but the kits. Do you think that might work?Originally posted by rtjw
Looks good spike. You will find that corn cobs really look best on round top euros or cigar pens. Great job.
