I had this extra blank of translucent red lying around. I decided to try something new and drill it out, reverse splotch paint it with white and black and turn it into something. It has a different look to it with some great possibilities. Let me know your thoughts. Placed on a Platinum Cigar. The resin is Alumilite.

Thanks!

That looks awesome. And that is a solid red blank? Just goes to show there is always something out of the box yet to be tried. Nice job.

Edit:
I am really liking this pen. I just got my alumilite in today. I may have to try this. It may replace my gator jaw clicker as my carry pen.

I've never been a fan of using white for reverse painting. To me it washes out color more than anything. However, combine that with the other paints and the pattern and it looks cool! It does open up several new concepts.
