Red and Black segmented Cigar

This was something I wanted to try, every thing was cut with a miter saw but I think the next one will be parted off on the lathe. a couple of the slices are just a hair thinner on one side. It was sanded to 1500 then MM to 3600 and Plastix polished.

Nice job, Max! Being a Ga Bulldog, these are my favorite colors!

I think it is easier to cut segments with a pen sled attached to a table saw. But, you do get a better "visual concept" of the finished blank by segmenting on the lathe.

Nice pen. I like the opposite contrasts between the cap section and the 'writin' end.
Great fit on each segment.
