REBAR / Long Click

This is 1/2" Rebar on a CSUSA long click, John (IAP member desertrat) drilled the 3/8" hole through the Rebar and I turned the ends (10 degrees) and did the finish, It was buffed with a wire wheel and has three coats of gun blueing and a lacquer finish.It is lighter than it looks and feels good in the hand.:biggrin:

It was drilled on a metal lathe, I don't think I would try it on a DP.

I would guess that it is about the same as a true stone, there is not much left after you drill out 3/8" out of it.

Looks good, I did mine drilling on a wood lathe and turning the ends with an angle grinder.

I've always like these since Peter Hay showed us the first one a few years ago.
I remember scratching around for months on the construction sites I was working on, hoping to find a piece. I never did find a suitable piece of rebar,:redface: but did find a few old stainless bolts!!
