Lesse, a Buckeye Burl Baron last night and prepped a few barrels for slimline 308 casing pens. Today, I finished the order by making 4 of the remaining casing pens. Then, I had to make something kinda new and important to be done right. Plus, my friend who doesn't like the 308s might just like this'n.

My first fountain pen: a Platinum Baron Fountain Pen dressed in Eagle Inlay cross blank of Black Walnut, Bloodwood, and Holly. Finished with Oil, dewaxed Shellac, MM, CA and buffed with carnuba wax.

It's the top of the walnut where I didn't get all the wax off. I need to clean it up a little. Amazing what a larger-than-life picture will show that these old eyes don't catch at first look. Thanks.
