This was a real seahorse with hand painted tube I made and cast in Royal Palm Resin. Pen turned by Ken Frisbie.

Looks good. I like the background. I've done a few sea horses over white carbon fiber but had to sand down the back side of the sea horse because it was thicker than the space left outside the fiber. They don't smell good! Lol. Nice work.

Magpens I don't have any seahorse blanks currently made up but I could make more. I do have some starfish and some flowers, leaves, and other stuff on hand right now though. Shoot me a private message and I will try to get you pictures of what I have available.

Brian. Thanks for all the comments and compliments. With the seahorses they are really just an exoskeleton completely dry when I get them. They too are mounted with thin CA though and that gets sucked up a fair amount from the backside. Between the very dry starting point, the ca penetration and the resin cast under pressure they haven't rotted.
