I did this cigar a couple months back,the finish was very dull and had scratches and was turned very heavy.Sooo i dismantled it and put back on lathe and it came out pretty good.Now that i dismantled my first pen successfully i`ll be taking a look at a few more of my first pens and give them a make over.. How / what tools did you use to dismantle? I have a cigar that I totally botched in assembly... wrong parts on each end, both sections (ugh! What can't all the pens be symmetric!)

I have tried a few different punches... any secrets to share?

Looks nice. I have redone a few myself but sometimes they fit loose when reassembled and need a touch of CA.
