Rattlesnake Cigar Elite TN Gold finish
This is the second Alumilite snakeskin pen.
Thanks for sharing,

The Alumilite process I need to refine it to a specific
procedure to try and illuminate silvery air separation
syndrome. Wow it's almost becoming a marriage of rocket
science and art, lol

I know I'm in the minority here, but these photos are all over-processed with photo editing software. There's no way to tell anything about the pen with this much processing. [V]

Yes it is processed, but only auto levels, and sharpen.
I also removed the background. But no color change.

I will take pictures of both in the natural light of day
soon. That should really make a difference.

Do you mean eliminate (get rid of) the slivery air separation syndrome. Or have I misunderstood what you are saying. I understand that separation and the slivery color it causes is a problem with Alumilite. You can fix it: change to polyester resin. :D:D I'll bet this reply gets some comments.

I too can't tell what the skin is. As Lou suggested, maybe too much post processing.

Good luck with your casting, which ever resin you go with.

Do a good turn daily!
