Here's one for you - Classic Twist 24kt Gold - Bocote wood - barrel design represents the "rattles" on a rattlesnake. Trying to eventually get to a snakeskin cap and a barrel that most closely resembles rattles.

Any ideas?

Looked again at the photos. Very creative. Santa brought me a bunch of bocote and cocobolo for Christmas. What did you use to turn the small beads? Curious.

All done with a skew chisel by hand - I like the challenge of doing as much as possible by hand. After measuring once, I usually just eye-ball it... and sand out the uneven stuff.
