I don't often post but I do check the forums each day. Just thought I ought to contribute something for critical assessment!

The first pen is a kitless "lash up". I was given some bullet cases and decide to see what I could do! Cigar pen transmission, home made copper tip and brass end to cap. Cap material is vintage celluloid.

Second is kitless roller ball using Schmidt unit and converter. Material is vintage celluloid and black acrylic.

I have couple more offerings which I'll add later.

The end of the casing is marked .243. I guess you know more about these things than me!
I drilled out the end and tapped it for the cigar transmission - I didn't have the exact tap size but near enough for this - it is fixed with threadlock.

Very impressive work David. We may have the same surname, but your version of a 'lash-up' differs from mine....yours looks cool and mine looks like a ....lash up.
