After searching high and low for this ultra rare blank I finally found it tucked safely away in the back of my toaster oven. I really like how it has that 50/50 Heartwood & Sapwood mix. Thankfully there was no need to stabilize the blank. It turned very easily. Didn't even need a CA finish it was so shiny! I only MM to 12000, Buffed with Tripoli and White Diamond and my usual polish. Thanks for looking and any comments/questions/critiques welcomed!

Nicely done. The silma tree has an interesting odor when turning, huh?

Great effect with the eyes. I hope that's something you can reproduce and then distribute to the masses.

Very cool wood. It looks kind of two-toned. Great job, although I think I'd have put a couple of coats of CA on it though just for protection.

Sorry guys, this pen doesn't need any CA. It's all 100% PR made by me. I was asked if I could make a "burl" looking blank and this was what I came up with. I wanted to have a bit of fun with everyone:tongue: When my order of resin comes in (i'm all out at the moment :frown::devil:) I'll try to tweak it a bit. Here's what the blank looks like:
