I've never tried making a video lapse before, but I think it came out pretty ok.
I'm a little scared about sharing it with you all, as I have had no formal training...at all, so here goes. Hope you all enjoy.

Very cool video. Did you stabilize the shells before casting?

I did yes. I had them in a vacuum for almost 24 hours.
I had to be careful turning the blank though. Who knew that acorn tops could fly so well...
