Made a couple of Puzzle Pens on Sierra's today. Bought them from Lou (DCBluesman). Great kit to work with and fun to make.

Hi Keith,
Yes it would be possible to have a slight flair but nothing too pronounced.
I also saturated it with thin CA just before the final cuts - just to make sure any small gaps between the pieces were really filled.

Also those Sierra kits are much better than the Black Plastic models, tried my first one today and made the pen look much classier!
