Putting nice burl blanks to use

I recently bought a couple of sets of burl blanks from RockB. If you don't already know, Rocky is great to do business with and always supplies great product.

Here are a couple of pens from the first batch I got. One is a graduation present for my granddaughter's boyfriend. The other is a shop/sketch pencil I made for myself, though I suspect someone will demand I sell it to them.

Both are stabilized with CJ. The pencil was an experiment with coloring the CJ with blue dye. I know I am going to be doing some more coloring in the near future.
