This was a very brittle and finiky Stabilized Dyed Curly poplar blank I got from Arizona Silhouette some time ago. The blank blew apart three different times while turning, I somehow managed to fing the pieces and glue them back together. If you look real close you can see a couple of glue lines.

Anyway, it was too nice of a blank to just toss. I decided to wrap it around a Chrome clicker from CSUSA wet sanded with MM to 12,000 CA finish. Thanks for looking.

The stabilized curly poplar are some of my favorite blanks! Who'd have thought that poplar would be that interesting? I love your pen!

That is a gorgeous blank Joe! Sorry it gave you so much trouble, but looks like it was definitely worth your time in the end.
