The farm up the road from mine atracts thousands of people every weekend for hay rides, haunted barn tours, a giant corn maze etc.
They just added a copper fudge kettle and a bakery and as of today, they are selling my pens and bottle stoppers at their gift shop

Very nicely turned and finished. It is hard to tell that it is corn cob from the picture. What kind of dye did you use?

It is dyed with a commercial bakers food coloring, liquid gel paste..there is a post on here called "fun with food coloring", the link for the site is there also

ahoiberg..I bought them all ready dry..the ones they sell to feed squirls..Then I let the horses eat the corn off them[]..its all good!
