Purple Butterfly

Hi All,

It has been a while.

Got a request to make a purple butterfly pen for my colleague's seven years old daughter.

As the title says, the blank is made with purple and white play sand which I bought them from Michael's. And cast in plain old PR. On the average there is only one layer of play sand (see picture #5).

A Thank You Note - Super Cute

I received this thank you note from the recipient of this pen.

I found out she is only five, not seven years old. Accoording to her dad, she drew a picture of "her" pen before I made it. When her dad saw the pen, he was very surprised. He said it was exactly the way she drew her (original picture) which her dad threw away).

Translation what the note says (I think): Thank you Branden. I like my pen! Koli March 18/13.

Now don't think it is Super-Cute?
