Default Purple Aero Click

I won this blank from jsolie as part of my 2018 super bowl winnings. My wife picked it out as the blank for her next pen. My first attempt was a disaster, I back painted white and it was looking all washed out until I eventually blew it off the tube. Actually was kinda glad about the blowout because it wasn't looking very good anyway. I then kept putting off my next attempt because I knew I only had one shot left. Thanks to the recent discussions about backpainting and color choice, I decided to do a little test with my tiny bit of excess. I went with a matching light purple. Really happy with the end result, and most importantly she is happy with it too.

Very nice pen Sam!
It's amazing how back painting with different colors will drastically change the final outcome.

I couldn't agree more. I'm new to plastics, only turned a couple so far. My assumption was that it wouldn't matter that much, but wow was I wrong.
