This is about the 15th pen I have made. In the intro forum they asked to see some pens. This is the latest one and my second attempt at casting Aluminite. I am using pure pigment that I use to make pastel sticks. About equal amounts of cad yellow medium and ultramarine blue. It's an interesting experiment as there is some depth due to the clear nature of the resin and the reflection of light off of the buried brass tube. It seems the potential for innovation is limitless with this craft. My skill level is still rudimentary and I realize there are many, many pens that need to be made to even come close to what I see on these pages.

PS: I need to brush up on my image taking.
