PSI Designer NT

These two really nice PSI Designer NT were turned for me by David Newbern (OLDMAN5050) I wanted to see now the NT Version stacked up against the older tenon style. I think they look pretty good and David did a really nice job on these--- one is Purple Heart with an Osage Orange inlay and the other is Osage Orange with a Purple Heart inlay.

Smitty...I too like the Designer series and your pens turned out extremely nicely!!! I've never turned the 'tenon' style Designer series but really like the 'non tenon' style and so do my customers. Nice turning and great execution! Safe turning to you always!

I turned one of the no tenon pens, and it is a lot easier than sizing the tenon and gluing the band to the cap. The centerband being loose instead of fixed to the cap is not quite as nice, but it isn't a bad trade off.
