A coworker commissioned me to make this for him. It's a celtic pen in pewter finish on Bethlehem olivewood. It's a very substantial feeling pen for my larger hands, but a tad heavy if I were to be doing a whole lot of writing with it. I like how the little 'jewel' on the end reflects the light at certain angles.

I bought some more kits yesterday, so I'm going to have more on the way, but dealing with my kids having the flu right now so may be a few weeks.

I like the Celtic pen. I just finished one today as a gift for my wife's co-worker friend who is into all things Irish and Scottish.

This was my first PSI kit build and overall was impressed with fit and finish. I also bought some Knights Armor kits awhile back, so I'll make one of those for a relative who is into all things medieval. :)

By the way, nice looking combo. I like the pewter finish with the olive wood.

Nice job.

I like the Celtic, too. I finished one in green Poplar and had to replace the jewel. It clashed with the wood so badly, I replaced it with a button turned from the wood.
