I made a pair of matched pens over the weekend. The picture is of just one, but they are both exactly alike. They are both gold Napoleon kits on a single blank of zebra wood.
The napoleon pen kit is more compact then the sierra. It feels more suited for people with smaller hands. It looks great, however.
The zebra wood was kind of soft to work with, had to be careful of chip out. It also looks a little more speckled...I'd prefer olive wood to this for something with dark stripes.
The pens are going to be a gift for my in laws anniversary later this month, I'm putting together a little presentation box and do some inlay on the lid. I'll post that photo when it's done.
