Pro Slimline w/Garry Oak

Was sent some wood to experiment with. This is what it looks like...

Kit: Pro Slimline Click Pen w/Brushed Satin finish
Wood: Garry Oak
Finish: 3x Medium CA/BLO, Plastix polish, and waxed

Turns like oak, finishes well, I guess this is a good experiment. What do you think, would you want this wood?

Great grain on that oak...it doesn't look as coarse as say white oak to me.
