It turned surprisingly easy. Gouge to round it, round carbide to finish.

I wet sanded before applying CA and the wood swelled slightly beyond the end of the tube - only issue. Some light sandpaper on the ends of the blank quickly took care of that. I will be making more pens with these blanks, I love the look!
