I've gotten out a few of my nicer blanks, this one is Cast Box Elder which turned like butter, really fun. The set is a standard Le Roi in 24k Gold and looking at it you can understand why this finish, for all its detractors (including me), remains about the most popular finish. Although the price of Gold has moved it out of the lowest cost ranks to the high end of lower priced finishes it will likely remain popular.
