This "Sapphire Dreams" from Mazzuchelli is gorgeous, but like all cebloplast, difficult to work. This one is tough to photograph, too. As a result, the image is a little overexposed as I tried to get some of the underlying color to show.

I second the thought...prettiest material I have had the occasion to work with. That Italian lad really knew what he was doing. For all the fine modern materials available today, they all fall a bit short of this "ancient" stuff.

I have also used that material and found that it makes a beautiful pen.
It will turn a $100 pen into a $150 pen just that quick.
Beautiful pen, nice touch,this stuff is not easy to work but you did a great job.
