This is a home cast from this afternoon. Me and Dad were attempting something involving a spinning table while pouring the colors in, but it didn't go as we'd hoped. After I cut what I needed for the Polaris, I was about to shatter the rest of it to make pieces for a mosaic blank and Dad pointed out that we could still make a keychain with it. I did the Polaris, he did the keychain. The colors came out great, just different than hoped. We were looking for a helix effect, but it settled too much during the curing process. We waited until we had thick partially set globs in the resin before we poured it, so I'm not sure what else we could do.

Nice looking blank Allan. Goes good with the gold kits. I just don't like the Polaris kit. That's just me.

Dad doesn't like the Polaris too much either. The only real issue I've had so far is a bad clicker on one that was an easy fix. I'd definitely prefer an easier assembly process, but they've been a pretty decent kit to work on so far.
