I had to laugh after finishing this one. The challenge was exciting. A plywood fountain pen? Why not. I did a twist pen and key ring version of this a little over a year ago and wanted to do it one more time. Originally the wood was fished out of the dumpster behind the carpenters shop where I work I had them cut some 3/4 x 5 blanks. This time I rounded the corners on the sander before turning, coat in thin CA, small bites with a stupid sharp skew, thin CA some more until it was close enough to the bushings. Finish as usual with CA and MM. A little polish at the end. I wonder if these can be stabilized? Couldn't decide on one photo so I posted 5, sorry..... enjoy. Happy holidays.

*Being the Eagles were going to get another rug burn today up in Foxboro I decided to spend the time in the shop. Little did anyone know. Brady almost did another come-back.

Looks nice, looks like birch ply. An excellent choice for stability in cabinets. Makes a cool looking pen too...

Good job!
