Your pen looks nice, I think you'll be happier if you segment it with some other stuff to give it a little zap, it looks little too plain, but you turned it very nicely. Just MO. Nothing that critical.
oh, and you meant it's green sewer pipe right?

Nicely done....I have always liked that color. Did you just sand and MM, or did you CA too. I have seen a lot of pens from you lately, I am going to assume that retirement is OK?

All kidding aside, I like the soft colors of these and this pen was turned very nicely. Congratulations.

From the name of the thread, I was expecting an "upper decker" story.. (neighbor's a plumber...the concept just makes me laugh, but he doesn't think it's so funny...)

Your pen looks fantastic. I have a bunch of these blanks and made one pen so far out of it. I'll agree that they can be a bit plain looking as solid pieces, but just polished up (no finish, treat them just like acrylic...) it has a nice soft warm feel to it, which is quite different from the cold hard feel of the many varieties of acrylic...
