I received some lovely vintage cellulose acetate rods yesterday, so I couldn't help dropping what I was working on and trying some of it out. The body of the pen is made from the cellulose acetate, and the cap is Japanese black ebonite, since the cellulose acetate was not large enough in diameter for the cap. The cap finial is cellulose acetate however, and I think it adds a nice touch and ties the cap of the pen to the body. I used aluminum for the accents (since I got lazy and it's easy to turn), and a clip from Beaufort Ink. The nib is a #6 Jowo in a 1.5mm italic grind.

I'm sure I've said it before, but cellulose acetate is amazing to work with. It cuts so cleanly and polishes to so much depth! Thanks for looking!
