I have been turning for a couple of months and decided to try my hand at Inlace. Both pens were turned form the same blank. I had a little chip out on the Executive blank but was able to fill it with a couple drops of CA. I know where the chips were but cannot find any trace of them after polishing. Comments and suggestions are welcome.

It was Inlace that inspired me to learn how to use a skew. While many can turn it with stellar results using carbide; I had a failure rate of 25 to 30%. I use now HSS, and no more failures (over 25 turned so far.). Same can be said for many of the more brittle and beautifully homemade and mixed material blanks.

Inlace finishes beautifully. It comprises 1/3 of my blank collection with RhinoPlasti not far behind.

Well done. I was never good at repairing with CA.

Thanks for sharing your work!
