I haven't done Slimlines for some time and a photo I saw, probably from one of the members, prompted me to have a play with the design. Makes for a different looking Slimline and it was fun playing around.
These were the best 2 from six! and I still made a mess of the rings:biggrin:
The Yew is just french polished and the Holm Oak is CA'd

The Streamline was my first go at segments which was fun and although it takes time I'll do some more of these. French polished only this one.

Great looking pens. I love the segmented one, but the look of the Holm Oak is very cool as well. Nice work, thanks for sharing.

All very nice Bill. Look like you were having a great time playing around!!! Nice segmenting. I like doing slims from time to time, they can still make for a very nice looking pen.

Nice ones Bill. What, are you gearing up for the IAP slimline challenge?? I'm thinking giving it a shot eventhough I haven't done a slimline in years. Maybe I'd better brush up.
